Our Team.

Founder

Seth Cordry

Seth Cordry is our founder here at Canvas. His love for retail started when he visited a Walmart Supercenter in Shanghai China while studying abroad through the University of Arkansas. Seeing the scale, assortment, and adaptability of the world’s largest retailer inspired him to be a merchant.

Seth had a highly decorated and successful 15-year career at Walmart where he started as a summer intern in Infant Apparel and worked his way to Lead for Merchandising Strategy and Process reporting to the Chief Merchandising Officer. He has vast experience in buying and leading teams in multi-billion-dollar categories in Grocery, Hardlines, Toys, and Home – driving them to consistent growth. 

While his passion for retail runs deep, his calling to entrepreneurship was in his blood. Inspired by his grandparents, who started their own grocery store in Southeast Kansas, Seth decided to follow his dream and start a business in the industry he was most passionate about. 

Seth founded Canvas for the sole purpose of doing good work. His faith is his guiding force and our company’s name from Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Whether it’s in the communities we live in, our team at Canvas, or the brands and entrepreneurs who’s businesses we help grow, our passion is to serve and help them succeed.

When he’s not working, you’ll find Seth helping his wife, Hallie, raise their three children. He enjoys being on the river fishing with his son, helping his daughters learn their cheer and dance routines, and riding his bikes across Northwest Arkansas.

Omni Retail Specialist

Brynn Barckholtz

Brynn is our Omni Retail Specialist at Canvas where she helps our brands and clients succeed in omni channel retail. 

Before joining Canvas, she was the Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Uncanny Brands, where she managed four in-house brands on Amazon across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Her experience includes close collaboration closely with the Disney and Amazon teams, which gave her strong experience in brand partnerships and e-commerce. Over the years, she’s also had the chance to work with some amazing brands like Disney, Sanrio, and Warner Bros. where she’s expanded her omni channel experiences.

She graduated from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she was active in the Campus Activities Board — serving as Director of Homecoming and Director of New Student and Family Programming. One of my favorite memories from college was attending the NACA Conference in Denver in 2020.

When she’s not working, you can usually find her on the golf course, checking out new coffee shops, or exploring her community here in Northwest Arkansas. She also loves spending time with friends and family whenever she can.

Director of Operations and Analytics

Jacob Yankovich

Jacob is our Director of Operations and Analytics at Canvas where he helps brands navigate execution, replenishment, and insights. His work centers on simplifying complex processes, building practical tools, and giving clients clear visibility into running stronger businesses.

 

He spent five years at Walmart, starting in Private Brands running analytics across food and consumables before moving into merchandising roles in Sporting Goods at both Walmart and Sam’s Club. He later spent three years at Melissa & Doug as a Senior Sales Analyst and an Account Manager. 

 

This blend of analytics expertise, merchandising experience, and strategic leadership gives him a well-rounded view of what it takes to successfully launch and grow brands at retail.

 

Jacob graduated with a degree in Finance and an MBA from Pittsburg State University, where he developed a strong interest in leadership, strategy, and how numbers shape decisions. That passion for data shows up in his daily work and in the way he helps our clients and merchants turn complex information into clear actions.

 

He is known for creating clarity, building repeatable processes, and helping teams execute with confidence. Jacob brings a hands-on approach to operational problem solving and uses technology to support better forecasting, reporting, and launch readiness.

 

Outside of work, Jacob and his wife stay busy raising two kids and their golden retriever. As a family, they spend as much time as they can exploring the outdoors and staying active together.
